The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Seasonal Staff and Internships: <br />• Fall Engineering Intern/Worker. Responsible for assisting, supporting, facilitating and <br />coordinating multiple ongoing City functions, projects and events within the Engineering <br />Division. This is a temporary full-time internship working 40 hours per week, Monday — <br />Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and lasting approximately 12 weeks depending on availability, <br />workload and rules of Minnesota Public Employment Labor Relations Act (PELRA). The <br />wage is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Application period is o ern <br />until filled. Apply immediately if interested, as interviews will occur shortly following <br />application submittal. <br />• Rink Attendants. Maintain the warming houses during the skating season through <br />responsible, safety -minded work as a part-time temporary Ice Rink Attendant at Central <br />Park and Ramsey Elementary School. Warming houses are expected to open (weather <br />permitting) on Friday, December 16, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $14.50 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. Application deadline is 11:59 pm on Tuesday. November 8, <br />2022. Candidates must be at least 16 years old by Thursday, December 8, 2022 to be <br />considered. <br />• On -call Snownlow Drivers. Assist the Public Works Department with cul-de-sac routes <br />using one of the City's 1-ton pick-ups on an as -needed basis through the winter months. <br />Candidates must have a valid Minnesota Driver's License. The wage is $16.00 to $20.00 <br />per hour, depending on qualifications. Application deadline is 11:59 pm on Wednesday. <br />October 12, 2022. <br />• Fall Seasonal Maintenance Worker. Provides general maintenance of streets, park <br />grounds, trails, buildings, related facilities and equipment through the fall months. This <br />also includes mowing and trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on landscape <br />projects; maintaining athletic fields; picking up trash; streets & utilities maintenance. This <br />is a temporary full-time position working 40 hours per week, lasting approximately 12 <br />weeks. The wage is $15.00 per hour. Application period is open until filled Apply <br />immediately if interested, as interviews will occur shortly following application <br />submittal. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update is a City of Ramsey - Come Work With Us Flyers. <br />Integrity Tool & Engineering Expansion. The City recently facilitated the expansion and <br />relocation of a growing Ramsey business, Integrity Tool & Engineering, Inc. to the new Bunker <br />Lake Industrial Business Park 8341 147th Ln NW. The new location has 37,000 SF of space, more <br />than triple the size of their previous facility. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Letter of <br />Congratulations to Integrity Tool & Engineering Expansion. <br />Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: <br />• Movie in the Park <br />o Grab a blanket or bring a lawn chair and join us for a free outdoor screening of <br />Harty Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at Elmcrest Park on Friday, September 30 <br />starting at 7:00 pm. <br />
