reduce, treat, or recapture stormwater or subsurface drainage water are eligible. For <br />example, projects that are specifically required by a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer <br />System (MS4) permit are eligible, regardless of ownership. Projects may include, but are <br />not limited to green roofs, bioretention basins, roadside plantings, porous pavement, and <br />rainwater harvesting. <br />(vi) to any municipality, intermunicipal, interstate, or state agency for measures to reduce <br />the demand for publicly owned treatment works capacity through water conservation, <br />efficiency, or reuse. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, the installation, <br />replacement, or upgrade of water meters; plumbing fixture retrofits or replacement; and <br />gray water recycling. Water audits and water conservation plans are also eligible. <br />Equipment to reuse effluent (e.g., gray water, condensate, and wastewater effluent reuse <br />systems) is eligible. <br />(vii) for the development and implementation of watershed projects meeting the criteria <br />set forth in section 122 of the CWA.316 Projects that develop or implement a watershed <br />pilot project related to at least one of the six areas identified in section 122 of the CWA <br />are eligible: watershed management of wet weather discharges, stormwater best <br />management practices, watershed partnerships, integrated water resource planning, <br />municipality -wide stormwater management planning, or increased resilience of treatment <br />works. <br />(viii) to any municipality, intermunicipal, interstate, or state agency for measures to <br />reduce the energy consumption needs for publicly owned treatment works.
