These individuals provide general maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, <br />storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment; as <br />well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. <br />All Streets Maintenance Workers are required to be a member of the on -call team and work a <br />rotating on -call schedule 8 weeks per year. Members of the on -call team must reside <br />within approximately 30 minutes from the Public Works Facility (14199 Jaspar Street <br />NW) and be available to respond during evenings, weekends and holidays. <br />The 2022 hiring wage is $24.981/hour <br />The full 2022 wage scale is $24.981 to $31.226/hour <br />**This is an AFSCME Union Position** <br />**This position is subject to D.O.T. random drug and alcohol testing** <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />The successful applicant must possess the following minimum qualifications: <br />• Must be 18 years of age or older <br />• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) <br />• Must possess a valid Minnesota Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both <br />air brake and tanker endorsements, along with a good driving record <br />
