CONSD! ER AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR CLEANING SERVICES FOR <br /> MUNICIPAL FACILTIIES <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br />lcgrou ntl: <br /> <br /> As a part of the 2005 budget, Council authorized contracted cleaning services for the Municipal <br />('enter, Fire Stations No. 1 & 2, and the Police Department. Staff solicited proposals last fall and a <br />one-year contract was established with Coverall of the Twin Cities to provide these services; this <br />contract will expire at the end of 2005. In October of 2005, staff published a request for proposals for <br />cleaning services for the same facilities. Proposals were due as of 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 4th. <br />I~ an cllbrt to complete this process prior to the impending leave of the Asst. City Administrator, this <br />case was prepared for Council consideration on November 7th.
