PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING BOARD AND <br /> COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />l{ackground: <br /> <br />~l'hc terms of the following board and commission members will expire December 31, <br />2005: .Ion Olds and James Pontius (Park and Recreation Commission); Gary Van Scoy <br />anti Ralph Brauer (Planning Commission); and Tom Anderson (Public Safety Board). <br />I~;ach commissioner was invited to reapply for an additional term and has submitted the <br />attachcd questionnaire for consideration by the evaluation panel, which includes <br />members of the Personnel Committee and the Chair and Vice Chair of the applicant's <br />commission. <br /> <br />'l'hc lbllowing commissioners' terms will expire December 31, 2005; however, these <br />commissioners have elected not to reapply for an additional term: Jim Gromberg <br />(l';conomic Development Authority), Eric Watson (Planning Commission) and Alison <br />Ward (Public Safety Board). These vacancies have been advertised as per City policy. ' <br /> <br />]'he City's Policy for Appointing Board and Commission Members grants the Chair and <br />Vice-Chair of the respective board or commission 1.5 votes each during an appointment <br />process.
