The County is in support of access closures and
is willing to proceed with the closure and barricading of Barium under the
(~ounty's realm.

Public Works Director Kapler advised from a public safety standpoint staff does
not likc to see accesses closed off, but they realize this is a very special
circumstance.

Motion was made to authorize the closure of the Barium Street access to Mallard
Ponds as recommended by Anoka County.

Action:

Rat i fy the recommendation of the Public Works Committee.

Update on Elmcrest Park Entrance

At the July Public Works Committee meeting several options were presented to
thc Committee to control the dust on the access road into Elmcrest Park.
