2006 Drinking Fountains - This would include dog stations. Two would be added to different parks each year. This would be funded fi.om the lawful gambling fund project. Chairperson Johns thought Solstice Park should be one of the first to get drinking fountains. 2006 Concrete Restroom Facilities - This can be converted to running water. $33,000 estimated for one unit. Chairperson Johns thought they were ready to make this step. Commissioner Shryock wondered if they could get privacy doors for the facilities. She asked staff to get additional information fi.om other parks that have these to see if there are safety issues associated with them. Chairperson Johns indicated she would love to try this and see what public input would be. She wondered if they could be locked when the park is closed. 2006 Hexagonal Shelters for Various Parks - Txvo separate shelters would be added each year for the various neighborhood parks over the next few years. 2007 Community.Building,fOr .Elmcrest Park.2.'Project will include a multi-use building with storage for athletic goups using the facility. Commissioner Lehman wondered if Lion's Association would have some funds to put into tiffs building or for another building. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated it was his understanding the Lion's have not committed to Elmcrest Park at this time but they do need a building in the park. 2007 - Water and Sewer for Elmcrest Park - Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood indicated they will need water and sewer in the park and they do not want to put in septic and a well with water and sewer being so close but they do not know exactly when it will get to the park area. 2007 Replace Walks Leading to Fox Park's Deck - Will replace the current small section with an eight foot wide section. This would be funded by the lawful gambling fund project.. Chairperson Johns thought this would be a good improvement because it is nice to walk out there.~ 2008 Redevelopment of Central Park - Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood reviewed possible items that could be replaced in the park. The funding would come from park trust fund money. 2008 Fishing Pier at Riverdale Park - Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood noted this could be a cost share with Anoka County Parks. 2008 Irrigation for Titterud Park - This is needed to maintain turf.
