The City officially welcomes this new <br />business into our community. <br />llarber Industries- The closing for Lot 2, Block 1, Sunfish Lake Business Park will take <br />place on Monday the 14th of November. Construction of this project should commence <br />at'tcr the 17th of November. <br /> <br />Business Grand Openings:. None <br /> <br />Business Communication Initiatives: Next Business Network Meeting will be held in <br />January 2006 details to format and speakers will be brought to the EDA in November. <br /> <br />?mnmunity Revitalization Proiects <br /> <br />4040 Azurite St NW: Construction is underway and should be complete by years end. Martin <br />E1)M will be owning and occupying a 10,000 SF building. <br /> <br /> 4/) Azurite ST NW: Construction is underway for the Bertolas and Pekula Accounting firm. <br />Tlacy plan to own and occupy the 12,000 two story office facility that will be complete by the <br /> ol~ November. There will be office lease opportunities from 1,000 to 5,000 Square feet. <br /> <br />6030 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW: The old farm house and metal pole building has been <br />removed ti'om the site. The property is being marketed to interested parties including Zero-Zone <br />who is contemplating an expansion. Zero-Zone is currently going through an ownership change <br />a~tcl when it is complete they intend to purchase this site for a future expansion. Discussions with <br />Zem-z(mc continue and it is anticipated that the property will be sold to them early next year. <br /> <br />742,q(/Sunfish Lake Blvd NW: Currently the City is looking at dedicating a portion of this site <br />fi)r part of~ a comprehensive drainage plan. The area of the site will be between 1 and 2 acres. <br /> 'here is no updated information for the details of the drainage plan. Nothing new to report. <br /> <br />5175 142"d Avenue NW: The Public demolition of the old Amoco station took place on <br />Wednesday, the 9th of November. The weather was terrible and the wind did not allow for the <br />buildi~g to be completely demolished. Then rescheduled demolition will be on November 14th at <br /> <br /> <br />
