Chapter 7.5 PATHWAY USE'* <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />by the overtaking person. .~ <br /> <br />(c) No person shall overtake and pass another using the left side of the pathway <br />unless such left side is clearly visible and is free of oncoming users for a sufficient <br />distance ahead to permit such" overtaking and passing to be completed without <br />interfering with the safety of those approaching from the opposite direction. (Pk. Bd. Ord. <br />No. 81-102, § 1,5-20-81) <br /> <br />PB7.5-8. Following too closely. No person shall follow another more closely than is reasonable and prudent, <br />having due regard for the speed of oneself and for others upon the pathway. (Pk. Bd. Ord. No. 81-102, § 1, 5-20- <br />81) <br /> <br />PB7.5-9. Speed. No person shall proceed along a pathway at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent <br />under the conditions and having regard for the actual and potential hazards then existing. In any event, speed <br />shall be so restricted as may be necessary in order to avoid colliding with another and to maintain oneself in the <br />general flow of movement at that time and location. (Pk. Bd. Ord. No.~81-102, § 1,5-20-81) <br /> <br />PB7.5-10. General speed limit. No person shall propel a wheeled device at a speed greater than the maximum <br />of ten (10) miles per hour on any pathway. (Pk. Sd. Ord. No. 81-102, § 1, 5-20-81) <br /> <br />PB7.5-11. One-way pathways. No biker shall ride a bicycle and no roller skater shall ride or propel roller skates <br />on the designated bicycle pathways at Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles other than in a one-way <br />clockwise direction. (Pk. Bd. Ord. No. 82-104, § 1, 6-16-82; Pk. 8d. Ord. No. 83-101, § 1, 5-4-83) <br /> <br />PB7.5-12. Control of animals. Any person using a pathway while accompanied by a domestic animal shall at all <br />times maintain control over the animal and keep the animal on a leash, Any pathway user with an animal shall at <br />all times yield the right-of-way to other pathway users and shall not interfere or allow the animal to intedere with <br />other pathway users. No walker or jogger may use a pathway while accompanied by more Ihan two (2) animals. <br />No biker or roller skater may use a pathway while accompanied by more than one animal, (Pk. 8d. Ord.
