<br />City Administrator Hagen asked if this could be introduced this evening while recognizing the <br />verbiage will change before the final draft. <br /> <br />City Attorney Knaak said it could also be passed as is and trust the Charter Commission will make <br />the suggested corrections. <br /> <br />Councilmember Heineman asked if this is passed being a little wordy, if the verbiage can be <br />condensed prior to the second reading. <br /> <br />City Attorney Knaak stated the legislation is designed to give a lot of runs at these. <br /> <br />Councilmember Woestehoff withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Heineman, seconded by Councilmember Woestehoff, to introduce <br />Ordinance #22-26 amending the City Charter prohibiting membership to City Boards and <br />Commissions of non-City Ramsey residents, specifically to the Economic Development Authority, <br />Environmental Policy Board, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Planning Commission, <br />including future Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />Further discussion: <br /> <br />Councilmember Specht asked if there are currently any non-residents serving on these boards or <br />commissions. <br /> <br />City Administrator Hagen said that his understanding is that all current board and commission <br />members are Ramsey Residents. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed: <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove aye <br />Councilmember Specht aye <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember Howell aye <br />Councilmember Woestehoff aye <br />Councilmember Heineman aye <br />Mayor Kuzma aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />City Administrator Hagen announced upcoming meetings and events. He added the Bowers Drive <br />intersection with Highway 10 is being removed beginning this week.
