<br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Woestehoff, seconded by Councilmember Specht, to adopt Res. #22- <br />237 Adopting a Street Reconstruction and Overlay Plan and Issuance of General Obligation Street <br />Reconstruction Bonds and Res. #22-238 Providing Sale of $12,075,000 General Obligation Street <br />Reconstruction Bonds, Series 2022Ap <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed: <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove aye <br />Councilmember Specht aye <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember Howell aye <br />Councilmember Woestehoff aye <br />Councilmember Heineman aye <br />Mayor Kuzma aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Thanking City of Ramsey Legislative Representatives <br /> <br />Councilmembers Howell and Musgrove reviewed the presentation and expressed their <br />appreciation for Ramsey’s legislative representatives, specifically Senator Abeler and <br />Representative Heinrich and the work they have done for the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Woestehoff thanked Councilmembers Howell and Musgrove for bringing this <br />forward and agreed that Senator Abeler and Representative Heinrich have done great work for the <br />City. He also wanted to point out that Senator Abeler was able to get other people to co-author the <br />water treatment build. <br />7.02: Consider a conditional use permit for iDigital for a digital billboard at the northwest <br />corner of Riverdale Drive and Traprock St. NW <br /> <br />Planning Manager Larson reviewed the staff report and Staff’s recommendation to approve the <br />conditional use permit for the billboard. He noted that the EDA recommended approval, while the <br />Planning Commission failed to recommend approval with a 3-3 vote. <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove shared she was at the Planning Commission meeting where this was <br />discussed and stated the Chairperson wanted her to share the concerns of information being <br />conveyed by the property owner and the new City Code.
