Commissioner Van Scoy asked if the Pehlke lot to -the north if the road extension would still be buildable. Mr. Nielson replied the Pehlke property to the north is sufficient in size and will be buildable. Donna McClain, 15133 Nowthen Boulevard, stated according to this preliminary plat there is,a road coming up to .the side of -her property It has. been stated that this road will be extended w .:77::=..x through her parcel to align with 151' Avenue on the west side of Nowthen Blvd. in the future. She stated she has not been talked to by a developer or anyone else about a road going through her property, but it seems to be planned that it will extend through her yard. Ms. McClain stated the County found it interesting that the City is proposing a future middle school because they have not been asked about the school and they do not like access on a county read. The County would have rather seen the access for the school off of Alpine Drive. She - stated she finds it disturbing that the City is planning on a road to go through her property and she has not been asked anything about it. Chairperson Nixt indicated he understands Ms. McClain's reservations. At the present time there . are no immediate plans to extend the road. if the road extension happens, it could be many years in the future, or it could be in the foreseeable future.
