PC CASE # ` <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR A PAID ON -CALL FIRE FIGHTER <br />Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br />Background <br />In early 2004 the City conducted a recruitment process for paid on -call fire fighters. On <br />July 14, 2004 Chad Mulheron began employment with the City as paid on -call fire <br />fighter. Mr. Mulheron has successfully completed his one-year probationary period, <br />including all necessary training. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, the Fire Chief <br />recommends that Chad Mulheron be retained as a paid on -call fire fighter effective <br />November 22, 2005. <br />Coinmittee Action: <br />Motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />to period and granting status as paid on -call fire fighter to Chad Mulheron effective <br />November 22, 2005. <br />11 <br />—315— <br />
