Councihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM ROBERT GUZZO FOR AN INTERIM USE PER[MIT TO OPERATE <br /> SIGN' BUSINESS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6160 GREEN VALLEY ROAD <br />NW. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Robert Guzzo requesting <br />an interim use permit to operate a sign business in an accessory building located on the property <br />generally known as 6160 Green Valley Road NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 2, Fox Ridge Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSE Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on November 14, 2005, Robert Guzzo, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", <br />properly applied tbr an interim use permit to operate a-sign business in a detached <br />accessory building. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning COmmission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.06 of the City Code on December 1, 2005, and that said <br />public hearFng was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That in May of 2005, the City Council approved a six (6) month interim use permit for <br />the operation of a sign business in a detached accessory building and that interim use <br />permit expired on November 10, 2005. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned PUD-Planned Unit DeveloPment, and the properties to <br />the east, west and south are also zoned PUD-Planned Unit Development while the' <br />properties to the north are zoned R-1 Rural Developing. '~ <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is approximately 8.34 acres. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is surrounded by lots that are similar in size. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />That while the Subject Property is 8.34 acres in size, the house and accessory building are <br />both within 120 feet of Green Valley Road because a majority of the property is part of <br />cl~e Ford Brook floodway. <br /> <br /> <br />
