The Mea~tow, 50 acre development in the southeast quadrant of Nowthen Blvd. and Alpine <br />Street that consists of commercial, residential and public-quasi-public uses received <br />preliminary plat approval with contingencies: a) passage of an ordinance for the sale of <br />public property in accordance with City Charter; b) construction of sidewalks on both sides <br />o'f all streets within the plat; c) construction of sidewalks on Germanium Street N.W. and <br />152nd Lane N.W. in Brandseth with City trail funds; d) construction of a trail cmmection <br />from Alpine trail south to the east/west street in the plat, to be located on the east side of the <br />commercial lot; e) Met Council approval of the Comprehensive Plan:Amendment; 'f) <br />ensuring that the future public-quasi-public uses are protected; g) compliance with City Staff <br />Review Letter. <br /> <br />The Meadow Comprehensive Plan Amendment was approved for submittal to Metropolitan <br />Council and the amendment is contingent upon City CounciI ratification of Met Council <br />approval. <br /> <br />The Meadow rezoning ordinance was introduced; final adoption is withheld until final plat <br />approval and passage of the ordinance to sell public property. <br /> <br />Asissi restaurant/night club in Town Center received Council approval of the preliminary site <br />plan. <br /> <br />PC: I21/01/05 <br /> <br />48 <br /> <br /> <br />
