Estimated construction costs will be refined during the preliminary design phase for each <br />proposed alternative. We will create a detailed engineer's estimate during the final design phase, <br />formatted to MnDOT State -Aid standards. <br />SCHEDULE <br />We will begin with preliminary design immediately after authorization to supplement the city's AT grant <br />funding application. Dependent on wetland determinations, final plan preparation is anticipated to begin <br />in January of 2023, with anticipation of a bid opening in early June of 2023, and City Council Award in <br />late June of 2023. <br />PERMITTING AND APPROVALS <br />The work associated with the roadway improvements will require the following permits: <br />• MnDOT State Aid Approval, <br />• Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization (Stormwater, Wetlands, and Erosion <br />Control), and <br />• MPCA (NPDES —Construction Stormwater General Permit). <br />• Anoka County (General Work in Right -of -Way Permit CSAH 5) <br />• MnDOT (Miscellaneous Work on Trunk Highway Right -of -Way Permit MN 47) <br />FEES <br />We have attached a fee spreadsheet depicting hours, rates, and total compensation on a per task basis. <br />Based on our understanding of the improvements, our proposed not -to -exceed fees for the work are <br />$121,405.00. <br />If there are any questions related to the scope and/or fee portion of this proposal, please call me at (651) <br />968-7760. <br />Sincerely, <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />Kevin P.
