Voting Yes: Members Gromberg, Kurak, Kiefer, LeTourneau, Steffen and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Vice-Chair Kiefer abstained. <br /> <br />Case #2: Addendum to Ramsey Town Center Retail Market Analysis <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated that staff had been directed to obtain a quote for a study to be <br />completed on redevelopment potential along the intersection of Hwy #47 and County Road # 116 <br /> th <br />and the retail area along 167 Avenue and Highway #47. Mr. McComb, McComb Group, Ltd, <br />has provided a detailed quote and study outline for both redevelopment areas. The intersection <br />of Highway #47 and 167th Avenue is estimated to cost $20,700 and the intersection of Highway <br />#47 and County Road #116 is estimated at $12,425. She indicated this was considerably higher <br />than the original quote of $6,500 for the intersection of Highway #47 and 167th Avenue due to <br />the expanded scope of the study requested. A quote had not been received for the intersection of <br />Highway #47 and County Road #116. <br /> <br />She advised staff is requesting that the EDA authorize an addendum to the McComb Group, Ltd. <br />Town Center Retail Market Analysis to include the retail node of 167th Avenue and Highway <br />#47. <br /> <br />Chair Riley asked what the comprehensive study being requested will provide in comparison to <br />the study done for the Town Center Task Force. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated the study would project the growth of the City, determine the <br />number of rooftops and the impact of the rooftops on retail businesses.
