After additional discussion, a friendly amendment was added to the motion indicating the City's <br />involvement would stop short of condemnation, seconded by Member Gromberg. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairperson Riley, Members LeTourneau, Gromberg, Kiefer, <br />Kurak, Steffen and Strommen. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Case #4 <br /> <br />STAFF UPDATE <br /> <br />TIF Specialist Sullivan asked the EDA to stop by and welcome Class C Components to Ramsey. <br />They have recently moved from Brooklyn Park. They bring 10 employees to the area. They had <br />indicated one of the benefits was that the site would allow them to expand in the future. He <br />noted that during the closing the previous owners, Direct Enclosures, indicated their dealings <br />with the City have been great and they are sad to be leaving. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated the Ramsey Housing Committee will be holding a meeting on <br />Thursday. She will keep the EDA appraised of their discussions. <br /> <br />Chair Riley stated he has not been to many Town Center Task Force meetings. <br /> <br />Member Kurak indicated this was discussed at the City Council meeting and Chair Riley will be <br />receiving a letter asking if he'd like to continue or be removed from the Task Force. She stated <br />she thought nine members was a lot and would like to see it reduced to seven. She will ask if <br />they need a liaison going forward. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Gromberg, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members LeTourneau, Gromberg, Kiefer, <br />Kurak, Steffen, and Strommen.
