Mr. Mulrooney said 14 would be added. <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley asked what was being asked of the City. <br /> <br />TIF Specialist Sullivan answered that a proposal has not been received. <br /> <br />MEMBER INP[IT <br /> <br />Administrator Norman reported that industrial development has been slow for the past year, <br />however development inquiries and projects are starting to pick up again. <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley asked if there were grants available to help businesses clean up their blight. <br /> <br />Mr. Mulrooney stated that the State has a redevelopment fund. Funding options were discussed. <br />It was noted that it is hard to tap into funds before plans are visible. <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley asked if federal funds were available. <br /> <br />There was a discussion with Mr. Mulrooney regarding types of dollars available. <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley asked if there was interest in cleaning up, selling or being bought out. <br /> <br />Administrator Norman stated that Morrell wants to be bought out. Chies also wants to be bought <br />out but at a price five times the value. He also noted there were many fire violations in that area. <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley asked if the parties would be interested in cleanup if a revolving fund from the <br />City were available for that purpose. <br /> <br />Administrator Norman stated that most of the blighted users in "Tin Pan Alley" are continual <br />offenders and it would not serve the City to expend funds to clean-up their site and allow for <br />their business operation to continue. <br /> <br />ADJO[IRNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Kurak, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
