The Commission asked that one of the topics for the next agenda, if there is enough time to research it, is what can the Charter do about the notification process - can they make the notification radius larger, can they make City staff do public notifications that are not mandated by State Statutes? Commissioner Henke stated she has questions about Chapter 14 of the Charter that deals with the MUSA and hooking up to City sewer and water. She thought the City makes it mandatory to hook up to City services when you sell your house if City services have been made available. She also thought that a provision was going to be written in the Charter that did not make that mandatory. She asked for more clarification with what Chapter 14 says. Commissioner Rosenow pointed out that the new Commissioners had just been given a copy of the City's Charter and she felt that maybe after reviewing it, she may need clarification of other chapters also. Motion by Commissioner Rosenow and seconded by Chairperson Kiefer to add a case to the next agenda for general discussion (i.e. what needs clarification) of any chapter of the City's Charter. Further discussion: Commissioner Henke agreed that this could be one case as Chapter 14 would fall under the general discussion of the Charter. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Kiefer, Commissioners Rosenow, Childs, Henke and Vogt. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Donovan, LaMere, Netzloff and Spain-Brist. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Chairperson Kiefer and seconded by Commissioner Childs to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Kiefer, Commissioners Childs, Henke, Rosenow and Vogt. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Donovan, LaMere, Netzloff' and Spain-Brist.
