When proposals are put in front of them, what types of things do they see.- who makes decisions <br />on how many units per acre, etc. What is the transition of time - vacant land, for example, how <br />far do you know ahead what is coming. When is the public notified? It was suggested there <br />were some poor density issue choices made in the 70's and that should be prevented from <br />happening again. <br /> <br />Another subject for discussion could be the Metropolitan Council. There has been talk about <br />limiting the power of the Met Council in the City of Ramsey and the Commission would like an <br />overview of its direct affects on the City of Ramsey. It was mentioned that better <br />communication could also be discussed with the City Council. <br /> <br />Case #4: Topics for Future Meetings - and Dates <br /> <br />Consensus of the Charter Commission was to table discussion of Case #4 until after the joint <br />meeting with the City Council. <br /> <br />Case #5: Summary and Requests of Charter Commission from 07/06/00 Meeting <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Thieling presented a form called summary and staff direction showing how <br />follow-up to meetings is done. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Colmnissioner Childs and seconded by Chairperson Kiefer to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
