Ms. Slice stated that is the number they considered as well and advised they will also be using <br />high school students to assist as part of their Community Service graduation requirement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to <br />recommend Council award the bids for the used wood tire swing and metal swing for $50, and <br />the large Central Park wood play structure for $300 to Ms. Slice and Mr. Konzak with the <br />understanding they will also organize volunteers for the equipment removal, installation, <br />extending the rock area, and installing the new border (labor not materials). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Connolly, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case#3: Consider Contract Agreement for Engineering Services for Water Utility <br /> Related Projects <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reviewed the water utility related projects scheduled and underway for <br />year 2000. On March 21, 2000, the Council ratified a recommendation from staff for the City to <br />negotiate with Bolton & Menk to provide the necessary services. He noted the draft agreement <br />from Bolton & Menk for these services and pointed out that the not-to-exceed dollar amount is <br />missing from the agreement. He distributed a memorandum from Bolton & Menk detailing the <br />number of hours, work tasks, and associated dollars for each. He noted the total estimated costs <br />for the engineering services outlined in the memorandum is $48,300, and Bolton & Menk <br />proposes a not-to-exceed amount of $50,000 for the agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Mayor Gamec to recommend Council <br />enter into an agreement with Bolton & Menk, Inc., to provide services for water utility related <br />projects scheduled for year 2000 at a not-to-exceed dollar amount of $50,000.00. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, <br />Connolly, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Cormolly to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, <br />Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
