Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-12-xxx <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2006-2010 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states tliat the City of Ramsey will adopt a <br />Capital Improvement Program (CIP) annually; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP will consists of at least five years, and wiI1 estimate the future <br />needs for the public health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP shall consists of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next five fiscallyears, which is 2006-2010, with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity for such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committed projects and expenditures. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council authorizes the adoption of the 2006-2010 Capital Improvement <br /> Program (CIP). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the Same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of December, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor' <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-318- <br /> <br /> <br />
