--- CASE # <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR VACATION OF EASEMENT <br />IN RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 8fa ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF RAMSEY TOWN CENTER LLC <br /> By: Sylvia Frolik, Assistant Community.Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As part of tonight's agenda, the City Council is reviewing the proposed preliminary plat of' <br />Ramsey Town Center 12th Addition. There is an underlying drainage and utility easement on the <br />property that will need to be vacated. The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easement to be vacated <br />Proposed Ordinance <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The easement to be vacated encumbered that area where a culvert was installed under the trail in <br />Bunker Lake Blvd. As a result of the implementation of the grading plan for Ramsey Town <br />Center 8th Addition, that easement is no longer required and the culvert has been removed. The <br />easement must be vacated as it lies within the boundaries of Ramsey Town Center 12th Addition, <br />which is currently in the platting process. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easement <br />on Outlot A of Ramsey Town Center Addition 8th Addition. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance //06-01- to vacate the drainage and utility easements <br />contained on Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Asst.
