AUTHORIZATION TO MAKE THE FIRE SECRETARY <br /> POSITION FULL-TIME <br /> <br />PC# <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />As part of the 2005 budget the City Council created a part-time Fire Secretary position. <br />During 2005 budget discussionsl it was anticipated that this position would be included in <br />the 2006 budget as a full-time position. The Fire Chief has requested that, upon <br />inclusion in- and approval of--the 2006 annual budget, the Fire Secretary position <br />change to full-time beginning December 14, 2005. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Fire Secretary position change to full-time beginning <br />December 14, 2005. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the City Council grant authorization to change the Fire <br />Secretary position to full-time effective December 14, 2005, pending inclusion in--and <br />approval of--the 2006 budget. <br /> <br />PC 12-13-05 <br /> <br />-620- <br /> <br /> <br />
