Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2005, PAYABLE 2006, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following levies for assessed 2005, payable 2006, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: Ge~eral Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) <br /> Collected as Property Tax - EDA Levy <br /> Collected as Property Tax - General Levy <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> <br />$ 634,705 <br /> 341,624 <br /> 5,437,969 <br /> <br />CIP Bond 149,297 <br />Certificates of Indebtedness $ 424,109 <br />Lease Revenue Bonds 114,362 <br /> <br />DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY <br /> <br />Mississippi River Storm Water Sub Drainage <br />District # 1 <br /> <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 6,414,298 <br /> <br />$687,768 <br /> <br />$43,348 <br /> <br />$ 7,145,414 <br /> <br />2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 13, 2005. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That this final levy is being adopted as a result of the Public Budget Hearing held for the <br />purpose of hearing the opinions of Ramsey residents on the proposed budget and amount <br />of property taxes. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Tuesday, December 27, <br />2005. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> <br />
