Mayor Gamec inquired how the City would handle the situation with other businesses if they <br />make payment arrangements for one. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen replied that it was not this City Council that agreed to the initial <br />payment agreement with Diamonds. He stated that he has had several conversations regarding <br />this issue and it is becoming apparent that the City agreed to the initial terms because of <br />something the City did to them when the property was being developed. He requested <br />clarification as to how and why the initial agreement was made with Diamonds. <br /> <br />Cotlncilmember Connolly suggested tabling the issue to allow the Council time to get a complete <br />understanding of the circumstances involved. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to table action. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen.
