Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if Mr. Clemens will be able to sell and build on this outlot. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon replied soon after this case there will be an <br />application for final plat to convert this outlot to buildable lot. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to introduce an ordinance <br />to vacate the easements for drainage and utility purposes for the area legally described as the <br />drainage and utility easement along the common lot line between Lot 1, Block 1 and Outlot A, as <br />dedicated on the recorded plat of Clemens Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the <br />west 10 feet and also EXCEPTING the east 5 feet. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2B: <br /> <br />Indemnification Agreement between Ramsey Town Center, LLC, Sharp & <br />Associates, LLC, and PSD, LLC (collectively the "Developer") and the City <br />of Ramsey <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated this indemnification agreement is in relation to the three story <br />Jim Deal property located kiddie corner from the new Municipal Center in Ramsey Town <br />Center. Preliminary plat approval has been received for this property. Final plat approval is on <br />the agenda for the December 13th Council meeting. The developer would like to begin utility <br />work and wall construction, which is not allowed prior to final plat approval under the City <br />ordinance. The City Attorney has drafted an indemnification agreement to allow for this work to <br />begin. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the indemnification agreement and advised he will be making <br />minor revisions.
