PC CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST AUTHORIZATION TO SUBMIT PAY EQUITY REPORT TO THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYEE RELATIONS <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Local Government Pay Equity Act requires the City of Ramsey to complete a Pay Equity <br />Implementation Report reflecting salary and benefit information as of December 31, 2005. Staff <br />forwarded the necessary information to a consultant who used the Department of Employee <br />Relations' (DOER) software to determine compliance. It appears that the City is in compliance, <br />however, official notification will come from DOER at a later date. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending that City Council accept the results 'of the attached pay equity report and <br />authorize staff to submit the report to DOER for evaluation. <br /> <br />-371- <br /> <br /> <br />
