Commissioner <br />Dempsey stated that he thinks the PUD fails on three criteria. The senior housing issue has not <br />been addressed and there are no amenities included for senior housing. If it is going to be <br />targeted to seniors, there should be some amenities to attract seniors. The plat needs to address <br />providing a minimum of twenty percent open space. In general, he feels the development is a <br />proper use of the land, but opposed to the particular layout. Mr. Bulow replied that the <br />development will not be advertised or promoted as senior housing, but in other similar <br />developments they have about 90 percent senior occupancy. Commissioner Dempsey stated that <br />he would prefer to see something that would reach out to seniors. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Dempsey, <br />Kociscak, and Wivoda. Voting No: None.
