Absent: Commissioners Jensen and Nixt. <br /> <br />Case #8: Proposed Ordinance Amending Interim Use Permits <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 10:38 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairman Anderson called the public hearing to order at 10:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Planner Rasmussen stated that the definition and purpose of an interim use is a temporary <br />use of property until a particular date, until the occurrence of a particular event or until zoning <br />regulations no longer permit it. The zoning regulation will permit the governing body to allow <br />an interim use based upon the regulations and conditions set forth by the ordinance. On <br />December 20, 1999 the Planning Commission forwarded an Interim Use Permit Ordinance to the <br />City Council for adoption.
