Absent: Commissioners Jensen and Nixt. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at <br />7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson requested that an explanation be given to the residents regarding the <br />Comprehensive Plan and the process that was used in.implementing the plan. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik reviewed the Comprehensive Plan process. She <br />explained that in the proposed Comprehensive Plan, the subject property is proposed to be <br />developed with high density residential rather than commercial uses. <br /> <br />Stacey Ellingson, 5383 141st Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated that the letter regarding the public <br />hearing was the first letter she has ever received regarding this piece of property. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied that a letter was sent out to the entire <br />community inviting them to participate in the Comprehensive Plan process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson questioned how many people present were regarding the issue of Mallard <br />Ponds.
