PC CASE # <br /> <br /> CONSIDER TITLE CHANGE TO <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR <br /> <br /> By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Staff recently worked with the Community Development Director to update the job <br />description for the TIF Specialist. Over time the TIF Specialist has taken on a growing <br />number of economic development responsibilities. With the departure of Megan Wald, <br />one of the City's former Planning Associate's, economic development has become the <br />primary focus of the TIF Specialist pos!tion. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Personnel Committee make a motion that the City Council <br />authorize a title change from TIF Specialist to Economic Development Coordinator in <br />order to more accurately reflect the change in responsibilities.
