Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A <br /> STREETS MAINTENANCE WORKER AND <br />BEGIN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS TO FILL THE <br />PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the 2006 budget, the City Council authorized the creation <br />of a new Streets Maintenance Worker position, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an internal recruitment was conducted and two applicants were <br />interviewed; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Grant authorization to staff to hire Greg Lind as the City's new Streets Maintenance <br /> Worker effective January 25, 2006. <br /> <br /> 2. Granted authorization to begin the recruitment process to fill the Parks Maintenance <br /> Worker position left vacant by Mr. Lind. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of January 2006. <br /> <br />-308- <br /> <br /> <br />
