Absent: CouncilmemberOlson. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance for Vacation of Easement in Clemens Second <br />Addition; Case of Vincent Clemens <br /> <br />Community Development Director Tmdgeon reviewed that the City Council approved the final <br />plat of Clemens' Second Addition on November 22, 2005. The 2na Addition was a re-plat of an <br />outlot into a buildable lot, which included the standard drainage and utility easements. These <br />easements must now be vacated to allow for the recording of Clemens Second Addition, which <br />includes new drainage and utility easements that will supersede the original easements. The <br />ordinance was introduced at the November 22, 2005 Council meeting and is now ready for <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adopt Ordinance <br />#05-30 to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Clemens Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: aye <br />Councilmember Olson: absent <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance for Vacation of Easements in Minks Business Park; <br />Case of Minks Properties, LLC <br /> <br />Community Development Director Tmdgeon reviewed that the City Council approved the final <br />plat for Minks Business Park on November 22, 2005. The minor subdivision is a lot <br />combination, requiring the vacation of easements along the original common property line. <br />These easements must now be vacated to allow for the site plan to be carried out as approved, <br />and for the multi-tenant building to be constructed across the previous easements.
