Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, Pearson,
and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Olson.

MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT

Mayor Gamec reported the following:
· Public Works Director Kapler, Assistant Fire Chief Hawkster, Councilmember Pearson,
and he met with the City of Bums regarding a possible joint Fire Department. Mr. Kapler
presented a budget to the City of Bums that is being reviewed.
· There have been changes to the Highway 47/Pleasant Street improvements.
Representative Abeler was thankful to the City of Ramsey for the letters and support in
meeting with the Highway Department.

Mayor Gamec asked if residents are still able to bring trees and brash from the bad storm to the
two dump sites. Public Works Director Kapler replied the City will continue to accept material
at the two dump sites until the chipping is finished, which will be after the first of the year.

Councilmember Elvig announced the City ordinance requires six inches of snow for
snowmobiling in the City. There is currently not six inches of snow, so there should not be any
snowmobiles or four-wheelers running in the City right now except on private property. Public
Works Director Kapler indicated all the signage is in place to support the ordinance. The
parking lots at Elmcrest and Central Parks will be maintained when there is six inches of snow.
Civil Engineer II Linton stated the maps are posted at the Police Department at City Hall and on
the City website.

City Administrator Norman indicated the agenda for the next Town Center work session has
been distributed. The consensus of the Council was to cancel the next Town Center work
session.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adjourn the meeting.
Motion carried.

The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 10:16 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

City Council / December 13, 2005
