Board Member Dempsey stated that it seems as if the Larsen's main opposition was to the
location of the proposed house. He suggested that if the home was located closer to the road the
Larsen's may not be opposed to building the home.

Motion by Board Member Johnson, seconded by Board Member Dempsey, to delay further
consideration until the March Board of Adjustment meeting to allow the City Attorney time to
review the code and give Mr. Boyum the time to work with staff and the Larsen's.

Further discussion: Board Member Johnson stated that he would like to see an attempt to have
the situation worked out. Chairperson Anderson requested that item #7 of the findings of facts
be completed as well as state Mr. Boyum's hardship in item #16. He also requested that all of
the findings of facts be amended to reflect the issues addressed during the meeting. Board
Member Jensen inquired if Mr. Boyum worked with an architect on the layout of the house. Mr.
Boyum replied no. Board Member Jensen suggested Mr. Boyum work with an architect to
maximize the lot without impacting the neighbors. Board Member Nixt requested that item #7 of
the findings of facts reflect the maximum lot width of 100 feet and minimum of 80 feet.

Motion Carried.
