COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br /> · Update on Metropolitan Mosquito Control District Services Provided in Ramsey during <br /> 2005. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton reviewed the services provided in 2005 from MMCDS. <br /> · Other Items Reviewed by Riverblood. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood noted the bridge along T.H. 47 is on budget and the 2005 <br />Trail Maintenance Program came in on target and they were able to pave twenty-five percent <br />more trail by using in house labor. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated they have planted well over 200 trees with the tree <br />spade and the value is well over half thc $38,000 for the tree spade attachment. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shryock, seconded by Commissioner Olds, to request Council <br />consideration of planning for the Sunfish Lake area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Shryock, Olds, LaMere, <br />Lehman, and Pontius. Voting No: None. Absent: Ostrum. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood indicated they continue to receive requests or interest for a <br />trail parallel to Co Rd 83. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought discussions were underway for a fitness center in Town Center <br />and she wondered how things were looking. They have discussed a community center and that <br />would be a great time to combine the two. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated there are active and continuing discussion about a <br />fitness center, pool and community center.
