Board Member XXXXXX introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-3LX-XXXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CUL-DE-SAC <br />LENGTH IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF WILD OAKS OF RAMSEY AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF THE SAME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ron Tallman (Permittee) has properly applied for a variance from the <br />maximum cul-de-sac length prescribed in Section 9.50.30, Subd. 4(g) on the property generally <br />located south of 173'a Avenue and southeast of Puma Street and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range <br />25, According to the U.S. Government Survey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />The north 447.60 feet of the east 526.00 feet, as measured along the east and north lines, <br />respectively, of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section 8, Township 32, Range <br />25, according to the U.S. Government Survey, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />That part of the east 542.00 feet, as measured parallel with the north line of said northeast quarter <br />of the northwest quarter, lying south of the north 447.60 feet, as measured along the east line of <br />said northeast quarter of the northwest quarter, Section 8, Township 32, Range 25, According to <br />the U.S. Government Survey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on February 2, 2006, conducted the public <br />hearing and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from the maximum cul- <br />de-sac length requirements on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact #XXXX, a variance to the 600-foot cul-de-sac length, as <br />established in Section 9.50.30, Subd. 4(g) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby granted for <br />the Subject Property. <br /> <br />The variance allows for a temporary cul-de-sac to be constructed to a maximum length of <br />1,260 feet. <br /> <br />The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this variance. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
