However, members of the Environmental Policy Task Force are encouraged to
continue to participate through the end of May. By that time, it is anticipated that the wetland
buffer ordinance will be in final draft format.

Discussion was held regarding appointing the Chair and Vice Chair for the Environmental Policy
Board. Ultimately, it was agreed upon to table this action till the first meeting in June, which
would hopefully correspond with the completion of the wetland buffer ordinance. Until then,
Task Force Chairperson McDilda will continue as Acting Chairperson for the Environmental
Policy Board.

Motion by Board Member Max and seconded by Board Member Hustvedt to table appointing
Chair and Vice Chair till the June 6, 2005 meeting.

Motion carried. Through his
discussion, several changes were discussed and agreed upon.

9.26.01 Subd. 8 shall be rewritten to specify that the various wetland types referred to are
Preserve, Manage 1, Manage 2, and Manage 3. This subdivision has been revised as follows, "It
is the intent of this Chapter to develop a methodology for determining the relative value of the
various wetland types, including Preserve, Manage 1, Manage 2, and Manage 3 as defined in this
Section, within the City. By use of a values and measures system, various buffering scenarios
will be defined dependent upon their value as measured (eg. More valued wetlands will have
more stringent buffering guidelines).

9.26.02 Subd. 1 (g) The first sentence should be deleted so that it reads, "To put in place a means
of baselining..."

Motion by Board Member Olds and seconded by Board Member Hustvedt to revise 9.26.02
Subd. 1 (g) by deleting the first sentence of the paragraph.

Motion carried.
