The following language was <br />agreed upon, "Adhering to standards established in the WCA as permitted and enforced by the <br />Local Governing Unit (LGU)." <br /> <br />Board Member Olds moved to amend the motion to include the revised language. Board <br />Member Max seconded. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson McDilda, Board Members Hustvedt, Bentz, <br />Olds, and Max. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Members Sibilski and Friese. <br /> <br />9.26.03 Subd. 1 (b) needed to be revised to specify that it is the LGU that must approve all <br />delineations, not the City. The paragraph shall state, "...Ail delineations must be approved by <br />the Lower Rum River Water Management Organization (LRRWMO), which is the Local <br />Governing Unit (LGU)..." and "... soil data deemed necessary to determine the jurisdictional...". <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Max and seconded by Board Member Hustvedt to revise 9.26.03 <br />Subd. 1 (b). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Board Members Sibilski and Friese. <br /> <br />Case #3: Staff Update Regarding Status of Wetland Buffer Ordinance Adoption <br /> <br />Staff member Chris Anderson informed the group that the wetland buffer ordinance was <br />presented to the Planning Commission at their meeting on April 21, 2005 for review and <br />discussion purposes. There were some revisions requested including defining the four wetland <br />classifications within this section. The public hearing for the wetland buffer ordinance would be <br />held during the Planning Commission meeting on May 5, 2005. Upon completion of the public <br />hearing, the ordinance will need to be introduced to City Council and adopted by City Council. <br /> <br />Both Acting Chairperson McDilda and Board Member Max stated that they would be attending <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Logistics of Environmental Policy Board Booth at Annual Environmental <br />Expo <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson McDilda has four enlarged maps depicting wetlands throughout the City. He <br />also volunteered to create a summary of the wetland buffer ordinance to have as a handout <br />during the expo. He will take cam of getting the booth setup for the event and will be staffing it <br />as well.
