Election of Chair and Vice Chair
By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator
Background:
CASE # 1
When the EPB was initially formed, all members agreed to table the election of Chair and Vice
Chair until the wetland buffer ordinance process was completed. As you are all aware, this
ordinance is still under consideration and the board continues to operate with an acting Chair and
Vice Chair. With only a few months remaining in 2005, the board may wish to consider electing
the acting Chair and Vice Chair for the remainder of this year or move forward with general
nominations. The nomination/election process will need to be completed again in January, 2006.
Recommendation:
NA
EPB Action
Based on discussion.
EPB: 09/19/05
CASE # 2
Buffer Monumentation Signs
By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator
Background:
During the August 1 EPB meeting, staff presented a couple of possibilities for signage for the
wetland buffers. After some discussion, Acting Chairperson McDilda suggested that the board
give some thought to the design and content of these signs and directed Staff to bring this topic
back at the meeting in September for further discussion. Staff will be looking for some direction
regarding buffer signs.
Recommendation:
NA
EPB Action
