Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-048 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-08, 2023 <br />CRACK SEAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by sealing cracks on an annual basis; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2023 including $200,000 to <br />crack seal the bituminous pavement on numerous public street segments in support of the <br />City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising for bids for Improvement Project #23-08, 2023 Crack Seal Improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the <br />City Engineer and authorizes advertisements for bids for said improvements as City <br />Improvement Project #23-08, 2023 Crack Seal Improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
