Funding Source: <br />The project cost estimate is $218,730. This includes 5% indirect costs for administrative, engineering, legal and <br />financing. <br />The City annually budgets $200,000 for crack seal and pavement rejuvenator improvements and as always staff <br />strives to spend all $200,000 to maintain all paved streets as cost-effectively as possible. <br />In 2023, Staff proposes to apply all 2023 pavement rejuvenator improvements to streets on the City's Municipal <br />State Aid System and to therefore pay for the improvements using State Aid Funds, leaving the entire budgeted <br />amount of $200,00 to fund the proposed 2023 Crack Seal Improvements project. <br />Staff targeted a project cost in excess of $200,000 with hopes that the lowest bid received is less than the <br />engineer's estimate and that all of the proposed crack seal improvements can be completed.
