Street NW, Ramsey, were proposing to build a detached accessory structure in their back yard <br />and had the COlnmon property line between the two lots surveyed and staked. In the process, it <br />was determined that the Bach's attached garage was located right on the common property line. <br />To remedy the situation, City staff approved an administrative subdivision wherein Karst has <br />conveyed a small piece of property to the Bachs in order that their home and attached garage <br />would meet the ten-foot setback. There is a standard ten-foot wide drainage and utility easement <br />along both sides of the common property line. As a follow up to the administrative subdivision, <br />it is necessary to vacate the existing easement and replace it with another easement along the new <br />common property line between the Bachs and the Karsts. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Nolle. <br /> <br />Motion to by Councihnember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Cormolly, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Tile public hearing closed at 7:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to introduce the <br />ordinance to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easement on Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, <br />Klemish Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Amendment to Development Agreement for G-B Properties First <br />Addition; Case of Dana and Duke Grosslein <br /> <br />Acting Community Development Director Frolik stated that on January 26, 1999, the Ramsey <br />City Council granted final plat approval to G-B Properties First Addition. The subdivision is a <br />replat of Lot 1, Block 1, Riverview Estates into two commercial lots. One is to facilitate the <br />existing Comfort Suites Hotel and the applicants are marketing the resulting vacant lot for <br />development with a restaurant. As of this date, the plat has not been recorded at the County and <br />the subject property remains as one commercial lot. Access is provided to the property from <br />Highway #10, Sunfish Lake Boulevard, and Riverdale Drive NW.
