3) Receive Information about Resignation of Full-Time Secretary and Authorize <br /> Contracting with a Temporary Agency for a Secretary <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated the Personnel Committee received notice of the resignation of a <br />full-time secretary and authorizing to contract with a temporary agency for a secretary. The <br />Personnel Committee recommends the Council accept the resignation of Joanne Kusler, <br />authorize use of temporary agency, and extend appreciation to Ms. Kusler. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to accept the <br />resignation of Joanne Kusler, authorize Staff to contract with a temporary agency, and extend <br />appreciation to Ms. Kusler. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, Hendriksen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />1) Authorize Transfer of General Fund Revenues <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated each year the transfer of the General Fund Balance is considered. He noted <br />the recommended transfers and recommendation of the Finance Committee to so authorize as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Equipment Revolving Fund (10%) <br />Facilities Construction Fund (40%) <br />Public Improvement Revolving Fund (50%) <br /> <br />$16,014.81 <br />$ 64,O59.23 <br />$ 8O,O74.O4 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to adopt <br />Resolution #00-04-093 approving the transfer of excess general fund revenues to the equipment <br />revolving fund, facilities construction fund, and the public improvement revolving fund. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />2) Approve Bids for Central Park's Surplus Play Equipment <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that it was recommended by the Finance Committee to accept the bid of <br />Mr. Konzak and Ms. Slice to pay $350 for the Central Park play structure and the small wood <br />structure and metal swing with them providing volunteers for the removal and installation. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to award the <br />bid to Mr. Konzak and Ms. Slice to pay $350 for the Central Park large play structure, the used <br />wood tire swing, and the metal swing with them providing volunteers for the removal and <br />installation. <br /> <br />City Council/April 11, 2000 <br /> Page 25 of 27 <br /> <br /> <br />
