City Attorney Goodrich suggested, if this item is to be discussed, that it be made an agenda case.
He stated he will need to review the City's policy for use of City facilities which was adopted
last year to determine what that says regarding this issue. He explained that it needs to be
determined if that policy applies to just City Hall or to all City facilities. City Attorney Goodrich
stated he will report on that item at the next City Council meeting.

Councilmembers Anderson and Connolly requested a written report on this case.

Ms. Casey stated she has talked with Deb Landwehr to see if something could be worked out but
Ms. Landwehr wants 100% of the profit and the RYAA wants 100% of the profit to go back to
the RYAA organization. She explained their sports program starts next week so they do not have
a lot of time.

Mayor Gamec stated this issue will be considered at the next Council meeting. If it is discussed
at the upcoming workshop, notice will be provided to Ms. Casey and Ms. Landwehr.

Ms. Casey stated it was her impression that Ms. Landwehr will start the concession sales next
week, however, the Department of Health has not yet issued a license for that operation.

Mayor Gamec stated Staffwill research that issue as well.

John Enstrom, 8702 - 181st Avenue NW, Ramsey, complimented the Mayor and
Councilmembers on the action they took at their last meeting on the communication tower. He
stated he has three angle iron towers on his property which run down the center of Ramsey and
he thinks it should be possible to attach an angle iron and antenna to that type of tower. Mr.
Enstrom commented on the telecommunication technology used today and stated he would like
the City's ordinance to also address the removal of telecommunication towers when they are no
longer being used. He stated his impression that Ramsey residents appreciate the rural nature of
the community.

Mayor Gamec announced the upcoming events that will occur on April 29, 2000, including the
tree sale, a craft sale, the Environmental Expo, recycling event, and pet clinic.

APPROVE AGENDA

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to approve
the agenda as presented.

Motion carried.
