2) Highway #10 Interchange Land Preservation <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated he and Jodi Ruehle of The Tinklenberg Group met with the <br />property owner of the land designated in all TH #10 Access Management Plans for the future <br />fiver crossing system intemhange with Highway #10. Every alternative includes some type of <br />interchange south of Highway #10 on the property owner's land in question. The property owner <br />has indicated a willingness to sell, however, would like to begin the process. The property will <br />not become eligible for Right-of-way Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF) until the river crossing <br />project has been officially mapped. He requested direction from the Council on whether there is <br />interest in putting together a financing plan to work with the property owner. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested staff contact the County regarding the take over the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested staff also contact the Metropolitan Council regarding the fight- <br />of-way, as they are completing official mapping for the bridge crossing. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated staff will discuss the right-of-way with the County during <br />their scheduled meeting this week. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Future Meetings <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman requested direction regarding the second meeting of December, <br />which has typically been canceled in the past due to the holidays. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to bring the cancellation of the second meeting <br />of December forward for Council authorization. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted the following meetings: · The November 8th regular Council meeting has been rescheduled to November 7th. <br /> · Town Center Work Session November 8th: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson indicated there will be a tour provided of the in-progress <br />Municipal Center on November 7th starting at 3:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson indicated exterior stone materials will be on display at the <br />Municipal Parking Ramp on November 7th. <br /> <br />Council/Staff Announcements <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated staff has heard that the City of Ramsey did not make the <br />final cut for the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality grant. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / November 1, 2005 <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
