How well do <br />you think people know the direction of the City, and is there a consensus around that in the City <br />by the Council, staff and citizens at large? <br /> <br />· The citizens do not have a lot of knowledge of the extent of things going on in the City <br />· Better communication should be strived for between Council and staff <br />· Difficulty in the Council keeping abreast of things due to the great amount of <br /> development occurring in the City <br />· Concern in keeping the growth in line with the development to ensure the required <br /> revenue <br />· Concerns regarding overgrowth and the need to manage the growth <br />· Concerns regarding cluster developments <br /> <br />Are there any other issues in the future? <br /> <br />· Future buildings and growth <br />· Relocation of the maintenance campus <br />· Land preservation for future school site <br /> <br />Mr. Joynes indicated a recommendation will be ready for the City approximately March 15th. <br />The recommendation will include data and projections, and will also raise questions for the <br />Council to answer. <br /> <br />4) Performance Review Discussion <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the City Administrator perform~ce review. Mayor Gamec indicated in <br />general the review is favorable. The City Administrator will receive the standard 3% pay <br />increase, which was approved at the last Council meeting for non-organized employees.
