City Engineer Jankowski responded they have the same tank size, but one of the styles has more
storage.

3) Receive Anoka County Five-Year Highway Plan

City Engineer Jankowski explained that the Public Works Committee recommends the
following:

That the City request, in writing, that Anoka County acknowledges that it would modify
its transportation plans to revise the location of the Anoka-Dayton bridge crossing
consistent with the City's latest Comprehensive Plan. Furthermore, the revisions of the
bridge location should include the issue of the proposed transference of the jurisdiction
trade of T.H. #47 and C.R.//56 between the State and Anoka County.
Regarding the existing "Preservation" status of T.H. #47, it was recommended that steps
be initiated to define the process and pursue the change in classification to a higher status.
It was suggested that Len Levine may be useful in accomplishing this task.
Regarding the North Star Corridor, it was recommended that a question be posed to both
Anoka County and the City of Anoka regarding light rail and how potential riders access
the Anoka site given the current status of Highway #10 and T.H.//47, C.R. #116, and
Anoka City collection streets.
Regarding the 164th Lane storm sewer, it was recommended that the City Attorney pursue
a counter response to Anoka County on the subject of funding participation. It was noted
that the County responded in a letter stating they had advised the City against issuing a
building permit for a particular lot.

Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to ratify
recommendation//1 of the Public Works Committee as presented.

Motion carried.
